Why You Should Avoid Fatty Food To Lose Weight

All of us know that to lose weight we have completely avoid alcohol and fatty foods, but few of us know the reason why to avoid these foods. Explanation is actually very simple. Alcohol and fatty food contain much more calories as compared to protein and carbohydrate.
Have you ever thought that how does food provide energy to our body. Actually, foods contain several nutritional substances, few of which gets converted to provide energy, where as other nutritional substances are used by our body to function properly.
Carbohydrates, lipids, alcohol and protein are rich source of energy. Our body is structured in such a way that it requires certain amount of energy to function properly. All the energy that we derive from food and all the energy we use during the day are measured in term of calories.
Almost all our calorie intake comes from lipids, protein, alcohol and carbohydrates that we consume daily. Each of them provides us certain amount of calories. Protein and carbs provide us 4 calories/gram, fat provides 9 calories/gram and alcohol provides 7 calories/gram.
Now you can see that alcohol provides almost double the calories as compared to protein and carbs. On the other hand, fat provides more than double calories vis-à-vis carbs and protein. If your daily diet is rich in fatty foods with daily alcohol consumption then you will grow fatter and fatter. That’s why every healthy weight loss diet recommends avoiding alcohol and fatty food.
But we cannot all together eliminate fat from our diet. Actually our body needs fat to function properly. A good and healthy weight loss diet will teach you how to reach a healthy weight by the help of diet which has combination of protein, carbohydrate and fat with other vital nutrients.
Your current and future weight will be determined by the amount calories intake and amount of calorie consumed. To lose weight you have to burn more calories than consumed. If you burn fewer calories as compared to your calorie intake then you will gain weight. So to lose weight you have to burn more calories. This can be done with the help of proper diet and regular exercise. Exercise will help you to burn more calories and with the help of diet you will consume fewer calories.
You really don’t have to go crazy about the calorie counts. You just need to be focused that you should consume low calories, nutritious food and do regular exercise. This way you will burn ample amount of calories and will reach your weight loss goal.
