Who Are The People Who Never Gain Weight
Lucky are few people who never gain weight. You must be wondering if it’s really true that some people never gain weight where as there are those who simply don’t know how to lose weight!
It’s quite interesting to study the psyche of those people who never put on weight no matter how much they eat. In fact such people often get very upset on remaining thin and not gaining any weight.
Blame it on genetics
Yes, to a large extent it is genetics that prevents people from gaining weight. It is not that such people don’t eat or eat little. Sometimes there is no alteration in their appetite; they do not have to deal with weight fluctuations either. Sometimes what happens is that these people gain weight but only in the form of muscle weight and not fat and sometimes these people continue eating but their stomach never seems to be full. Research has shown in the past that the growth of hormone plays a significant role in determining weight gain and weight loss.
Increased level of growth hormone enables a person to burn more calories as a result of which they lose more weight rather than gaining any.
Lack of Proteins and Nutrients
Sometimes lack of proteins and nutrients in a person’s diet is responsible for weight loss. Like how people struggle to reduce weight in the same manner people struggle to gain pounds. And just like losing weight even gaining weight cannot happen within a short span of time. The best way to ensure that a person is gaining weight is by counting the amount of calories taken by them. Eating a high protein diet may help such people to gain weight. If a person cautiously makes an effort to gain weight by eating healthy foods then soon they will be able to note few pounds added to their body.
Medical reasons
Sometimes due to a disease people tend to not gain any weight. Hyperthyroidism or chronic lung diseases can prevent people from gaining weight. In such a scenario also eating a high protein diet and drinking less water can help people gain weight.
