When Should You Eat

When it comes to losing weight and burning the stored fat then there is an apparent reason to lessen energy intake, but once the diet is established, it actually possible to go beyond the estimated number of calories in order to lose weight.

To try to balance for the special or occasional off days we can eat meals at the time when the energy is more likely to be used efficiently to replace the nutritional needs and reduce the risk that surplus energy will be stored as a fat on the hips. So when is the best and apt time to have food?

Some research and experts indicate that the best and apt time to have food is when we sense hunger as this is the nature’s way to tell us that our body need energy and nutrients. However, for some people they also feel hungry and having high-calorie food when ever hunger strike is one of the main reasons to gain weight in the first place.

Many studies have concluded that the best to have food and consumer energy is when your body is most active and when the metabolic rate is high and when there is requirement for additional nutrition. Perhaps the first instance shall be in the morning, having a good and healthy morning.

While sleeping we cut down the supply of essential nutrients for as long as eight to ten hours and so in the morning our cells need energy. In the morning cells are charged up and ready to use the energy from food. Also our body requires vital nutrients in the morning such as protein.

This is because excess protein has been used to help recover skin, hair, muscle, nails, to create antibodies to defend us against foreign elements and bacteria that may have entered in our body while we were sleeping. This indicates that our body need extra protein in the morning to replace the lost in protein while sleeping.

You have higher possibility that our body will consume all energy for the nutrition used by muscles if you have a healthy and good meal in morning. You can’t decide the actual time of breakfast as we wake up at different times, the best option is to eat within an hour of waking up.

Another nice hour to eat is after you have exercised. Try and having the biggest meal of the day within 30 minutes of your exercise session. At this time energy enzymes are very active and hormones that stock up energy are lowered, this will lead to less storage of fat in your body.

Carbohydrates will be taken up to refill the short glycogen hoards caused by exercising, protein will be required to help revival and increase of muscle tissue that burn calories; the fat from the food you eat will be used to stimulate these reactions.  Once you eat after work out it will be used up immediately.
