India: Indians generally have healthy eating habits. Majority of Indians are vegetarians and eat two-three vegetable in a meal. They eat bread made by wheat flour in their meals along with little amount of rice. Europe: Generally, Europeans main meal is lunch. In fact having big meal in the middle of the day comes from 5000 year old Ayurveda. According to Ayurveda, between 10am to 2pm we can digest more food efficiently and by eating at this time we can also increase our metabolism, which in turn helps in burning fat faster and quicker.
Italy: Italians are very social and enjoy mini meals. They love to enjoy their meals with their friend and family. Italian meals are more socializing and loner with small portion and less food. The average portion size of Italian meal is approximately 5 ounces as compared to American portion which is typically around 10-12 ounces. Italian foods are rich in spice, herbs, garlic, fresh tomatoes that make food tastier without the fat.
France: Three meals in a day, that the secret of French women and that how they maintain their slim body. They eat smaller portion and eat for longer period which helps in proper digestion and also helps in overeating. Food quality holds more importance than quantity in French meal. They eat regularly, never skip meals and they also avoid snacking.
Japan: Fish is the main food for Japanese. They eat lots of fish. As well all known that fish is rich in Omega 3 fatty acid which helps in weight loss. Fish is low in calories and is a rich source of vital nutrients, regular consumption of fish helps in losing weight.
People in the Mediterranean, Asian countries and France tend to be slim because they are more active as compared to their American counterpart. They don’t send hours in a gym, but they tend to walk a lot. This helps them in keeping slim, fit and active.
