Weight Loss Tips For Writers

Writing is a sedentary job and writers spend hours and hours in a day to write. Sitting for hours without much of physical activities means less calorie burning and more fat accumulation.

It’s very important for writers to spend some time in physical activities and exercising. But again the problem is the writers are too much involved in their projects and they hardly have time to dedicate for outdoor physical activities or to take out time for exercise.  Here are some great tips for writers that will help them to lose extra pounds that too without dedicating great amount of time and effort.

Avoid high calorie snacks and opt for healthy snacks: Many writers tend to eat while working on their computer. They generally eat high calorie and fatty snacks such as chips, pizza, fries. They don’t realize how much they ate and how these high calorie snacks will affect them. They get so involve in their work that they unintentionally keep on eating. Many writes use food as an incentive to keep on writing.

It’s easy to give up this bad eating habit by becoming bit more vigilant. Say no to high calorie snacks; instead opt for healthy chopped vegetable such as radish, carrot, red pepper, etc. These will keep you, your system healthy. It will also help you in providing several vital minerals and vitamins.

To add more flavor add some pepper and salt, or sprinkle some red wine vinegar. Writers who love spicy food can add some chili powder to dress up your healthy snacks. Avoid high calorie dressings like mayonnaise or cheese.

Go Outside: Next time if you want to draw inspiration about your novel or article then go outside. Go for a walk to nearest part or you can walk around the block, this will help you to give fresh perspective for your project and some exercise for your body.

Writers and authors who want to use this tip need to consider carrying a tape recorder or something to scribble on. If something inspires you; you can take notes of the same.

Re-arrange Your Desk: Put things at home in different places around the day. This would help you keep moving and remain healthy, yourself.
