Things To Do Before A Diet
You have made up your mind to go on a diet for the time and the last thing you want is to quit this half way. There are some points which you should keep in mind before you decide to go on a diet; for the diet to be successful and for you to stick to your diet.
Planning is essential:
If you don’t plan your failure is evident. You have to plan before you start a diet plan and you need to think what you would eat, how much would you eat, when will you start and end your diet and what is it that you look at achieving after your diet. If you plan to diet for the entire week starting Monday, make sure you sit down and plan your diet from Sunday itself. If you know what you want to eat, you would be shopping for the products that are healthy and for the ones you need at the grocery store.
Let everyone know:
If you tell everyone that you are planning to go on a diet and tell them what you want to achieve at the end of a successful completion of the diet; they would help you in your tryst rather than forcing you to eat out or convincing you to skip your exercise session.
Note what you eat:
Planning isn’t enough, make sure when you initiate your diet; in the morning you note down whatever you plan to eat on that particular day. This will help you track your calories and will also help keep you on your diet for long.
Review your kitchen:
If you plan to eat healthy, your kitchen shouldn’t store anything which is fattening and unhealthy as this would tempt you into eating what you aren’t suppose to eat. Make sure before you exercise you clean your kitchen and take out the things you aren’t allowed to eat.
Look forward to Something Nice:
Make sure you set realistic goals for yourself; buy a dress (of a size small) which you are dying to wear. Plan a beach vacation after your diet so that you put in more effort to reach your goal.
Skip this before you diet:
Make sure you give up junk food much before you go on a diet as this will help you reach the target easily.
