So you have been exercising rigorously and following a strict diet regime. But suddenly you weigh yourself to your dismay you find out that your weight has increased by three pounds.

You feel like tearing your hair out because after having starved yourself from so many delicacies you have only managed to gain extra pounds. Well here is some revelation about dieting and weight loss.

The first rule in dieting is that people should be ready to face fluctuations in their weight. They should not take these fluctuations too close to their heart and get disappointed. Instead the best thing would be to figure out the reason behind it so that such further fluctuations in weight can be avoided.  You would be surprised to know that the weight of water what results in the fluctuation in weight. But when a person starts to diet, their body begins to dehydrate more leading to the start of all weighty problems. People on high protein diet or those taking herbal supplements tend to dehydrate very fast. All this dehydration results in the person losing a lot of weight. However all the weight lost is not fat that has been burnt but only water loss.

Thus, when the body gets back to its healthy self the person starts gaining more and more weight. Despite all the weight problems that water can cause to our body, it is a vital ingredient and we cannot deprive our body from benefiting from those advantages. Water for instance reduces fatigue by strengthening the muscles and keeping them in good shape.

Also water is considered to be extremely good for skin. Drinking at least 10-12 glasses of water every day also removes constipation problems. And one of the greatest advantages of drinking water is that it curbs hunger.

Thus if a person drinks lot of water just before lunch or dinner, then he or she would be saving themselves from adding unnecessary calories to their body. These are some of the numerous benefits that water provides our bodies with. The only word of advice for people dieting would be to not get too affected with the sudden fluctuations in their weight. Simply ensure to check their weight once every week and eat meals in right quantity at the right time.
