You have to juggle between both your house and office, you don’t know how to manage in 24-hours. And if we tell you to take out an hour for workout everyday; your answer would be “Are you out of your Mind?” The fact is you can work out just for 20 minutes in your house. Yes this is possible your solution is fat burning interval training high intensity workout.
You should make sure you consult a doctor before starting this workout, especially if you are a first timer. You should also have lots of water at hand; also make sure you don’t eat anything at least 30 minutes before the workout.
It is essential to warm up before you begin the workout. Make sure the way you warm up is proper and you should take out at least 5-10 minutes for warm up. You can find a lot of details on proper way to warm up.
The things you require for interval training are an exercise bench/chair, and light weights. Through the workout; you should train for 30 seconds and then you need to rest for 15 seconds.
Dumbbell Swing: Stand as you keep your feet shoulder distance apart. Hold the dumbbell in both your hands as you bend your hands at your waist, till dumbbell is in between your leg. Explosively swing the dumbbell back to your eye level. Keep going up and down consistently till 15 seconds.
Rest: Keep your hands on the head and hold your stomach in as you breathe from your mouth. You should hear a hiss come from your mouth and you would notice a burning sensation in your abs.
Knee Up & Squat: Keep a chair behind you as you stand holding the dumbbell at chest height. Crunch your arms up to shoulder as you sit back, go half way and stand up immediately. Do it for 15 seconds. Now sit in the chair as you curl your knees to your abdominal area, bringing it to your face. You might lean back a little, don’t overdo or you might hurt yourself. Move your legs smoothly and constantly for 15 seconds.
Make sure you do 3 sets of each exercise.
Post workout you should stretch to handle soreness and advance your recovery process. Drink water and be happy of what you have achieved.
