Rapid Weight Loss
We all would love to get up one fine morning just to realize we have lost 10-15 pounds overnight. This can’t be a reality till the time you really work hard to achieve the desired results.
Many people get easily lured by the stories they hear about rapid weight loss diets & miracles of various diet pills available in the market. It’s great to lose weight within no time but then isn’t it too good to be true? Even if it is true, it won’t be as healthy as loosing weight after struggling for months.
The problem with loosing weight fast is that you need to go on crash diets along with strenuous exercise; the results aren’t not permanent and far from healthy. The weight you loose comes back on you as quickly as you lost it. When you tend to go on rapid weight loss, you wont loose fat but lean muscles as fat is tough to burn over a short period of time. Rapid weight loss will also leave you feeling weak and drained out.
If you target to loose one pound (which contains fat of 3500 calories) over a week, you will have to reduce your calorie intake by 500 calories a day. When you start a weight loss regime you tend to loose weight faster, but ideally you should loose not more than 1-2 pounds of weight in a week. Weight loss of 1-2 pounds in a week may appear very small and little but it is best for the long run.
If you are planning to lead a healthy life after shedding of the extra pounds on your body your perspective should be for a long term. You should give yourself at least 3 months to see results and maintain your newly acquired weight.
You should chalk out a diet plan which best suits your body type, take expert advice, stick to your diet and exercise regime for a couple of months to gain better results, which wont only leave you feeling light but also healthy.
In the hurdle to loose weight it isn’t the fast and furious but the slow and steady that finally wins the race.
