Quitting Yo Yo Diet

How many of you have made a weight loss resolution and failed? Well this is a very common thing to happen.

There are plenty of excuses which help you stay away from your weight loss plan- you have worked hard and deserve a nice meal, why should you be the only one on a diet or you just don’t believe you would be thin so why diet?

For most of us we start dieting every Monday and we are off the diet within a few days. The reason might be your emotional upheaval, temptations so on and so forth.

Most of the eating that we do is actually not for our tummy but our brain. We should understand our brain’s neuro-landscape to control our eating. You should be able to understand your mood patterns and you’d be able to control your eating.

Make sure when you go out or go for a party; it is like going on a war front. You should know it is only a party and it isn’t worth enough to give my diet a toss. Make sure you eat healthy and if you can’t do that make sure you control your portion.

If the reason why you want to eat is because of your emotions, call a friend, take to your partner, go for a movie; there are loads of things you can do.

Make sure you track you exercise time and the amount of calories you have eaten, if you can’t afford a dietician, choose a diet buddy and discuss your calories and exercise on a daily basis.

If you only think of food, make sure you think what this food will do to you if you eat it.

The Plan

Try these tips to stick to your diet:

Be Affirmative:

When you are on a diet be very clear and sure of what you have to eat, stick to the plan and don’t lose the track of your diet. Be very positive and stick to the plan.

Be Sure and Confident:

Never say that you hope to lose 20 pounds in 5 weeks, say that you will lose 20 pounds in 5 weeks.

Picture a Slim you:

Imagine yourself exercising on the treadmill, running on the beach, attending aerobics session, etc. this will give you an extra push to exercise.
