Take any food and it will have some calories. Actually, there is no food which has zero or no calories. First we need to understand what negative calorie food is. Negative calorie food is that food which burns more calories to digest as compared to the calories the food normally contains.
When we consume negative calorie foods, then our body works harder to extract calories from these foods. This is how these foods have a natural fat-burning advantage. Negative calories foods are also referred as fat burning foods.
There are several versions of negative calorie diet, but the common thread in every version is to consume foods that have negative calories effect. The more you consumer, more calories your body will burn and this in turn will lead to weight loss.
Let’s take an example how these negative foods actually works. Normally a 100 gram piece of broccoli contains 25-30 calories. However, to digest it our body burns 80 calories, resulting in loss of 50-55 calories. So, the more you eat, the more fats will you shed out.

Negative calories foods are normally fibrous fruits and vegetables. There are lots of negative calorie foods that are easily available. Moreover, there are a large assortment of foods that combine delicious taste, negative calorie proprieties and low calories. So, now no need to starve to loose weight and fight obesity. Eat lots of negative calorie fruits and vegetable to burn that extra pounds
A few natural foods that are rich in negative calories are: papaya, mango, lemon, asparagus, cabbage, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, spinach, apple, turnip, chili, lettuce, cauliflower, berries, orange, cucumber, grapefruit, celery, garlic, onion, pineapple, beet, blueberries, cantaloupes, etc. There are more than 100 other fruits and vegetable there are high on negative calorie. Eat whatever you ant from these selected vegetable and fruits and you will witness drastic weight loss. Try it to believe it.
With the help of negative calories food one can reduce weight up to 2-3 pounds. But many dieticians don’t recommend that. If even you loose 1-2 pounds in a week is commendable.
