Meditation and Fitness

If you want to manage your fitness level and want to stay fit then you have to practice at least 10 minutes meditation everyday. Meditation is a process which is used from thousand years. Many people are practicing this to remain fit. This spiritual practice helps to relax mind as well as body. A report given by American Psychological association says that meditation is helpful for the person having depression. It is also said that meditation can lower the stress level up to 54%.

Person having age of 50 years or more led a stressful life then meditation can provide them a relaxed life which gives way to fitness. Meditation is also helpful in decreasing the rate of mortality which causes cancer or cardio diseases. Meditation also controls the blood pressure.

Can Meditation and Fitness Have Relation?

Many people are confused about the fact that if there is any relation between meditation and fitness. For those people it is necessary to know that meditation have spiritual benefits. When a person practices meditation, it releases good vibration and at that time person feels more energy with clear mind and relaxed body.

How to practice Meditation?

To start meditation first, select a calm and cool place where you want to practice meditation. Lit a candle and play any soothing music. Place any peaceful symbol in front of you. Sit over the mat.

Keep your back straight. Put your hands on your knees while palms should be up. Now, close your eyes and concentrate over your breathing. Breathe in a way as you fill your lungs. After few seconds, slowly breathe out. Try to concentrate all your thoughts to the symbol. Put away the disturbing thoughts from your mind.

You can retry the process several times while breathing in and out. A regular practice of this method can provide fitness.
