Day 1: The first day begins with a breakfast that includes half a grapefruit, a slice of toast with one tablespoon of peanut butter and black coffee without sugar. While in lunch you can have black coffee without sugar to drink, a slice of whole wheat bread and a can of tuna. Dinner is relatively heavier as compared to lunch and breakfast. In dinner you can have three ounces of lean meat or chicken, a cup of carrot, a cup of green beans, one apple and a cup of regular ice-cream of your choice.
Day 2 and 3: The diet for second and third day is relatively same in term of meal quantity, though few specific changes that you need to take in Day 2 and 3 are instead of having 3 ounces of lean meat or chicken in dinner have 2 beef franks. The three-day diet claims that one can lose up to ten pounds in three days.
This three-day diet works due to unique metabolic reaction that has been created by combination of food. Major reason why one would lose weight under this diet plan is due to the stern calorie restriction. Owing to low amount of carbohydrate an individual can also lose water weight, as carbs encourages body to retain water.
