So you thought that weight loss is a slow process and takes time. Well think again. Here are some great tips that will help you to lose 8 pounds in just two weeks. You might need to do some changes in your eating habits and in your lifestyle, but at the end you will be happy seeing the result and you’ll thank yourself for doing it.

Make water as your only beverage: It’s a well know fact that water helps a lot in losing extra pounds, but unfortunately many people generally avoid it. Just by adding few extra glasses of water in your daily consumption, you can lose weight quickly. Water helps in flushing out toxins that hinder in weight loss. It also helps in digestion and proper digestion improves the body functions, which helps in burning more calories and eventually effective weight loss.

Have appetizer before your meal: Here is a trick, in order to consume fewer calories from your meal have a bowl of soup. This will help you in avoiding overeating. This works great if your favourite food has been cooked and you fear that you may end up consuming more calories. Having a soup or some other appetizer before meal will make you fill bit full and eventually you will end up eating less. Less eating means lesser consumption of calories. You can even try this trick if you are going out to your favourite restaurant or to your friends place for dinner. Have a bowl of soup at your home and you will be relatively less hungry later on.

Cut down on the salt: Eating too much of salt can make you heavier. Many weight loss experts and dieticians recommend dieters to avoid excess consumption of salt. Avoid eating processed and packaged food as these foods have lots of salts. Frozen foods, pizza, canned soup are just a few with extra salt.  If you want to really go off salt, read ingredients on the food labels while shopping for grocery; note the salt content in the products. You can easily remove salt from your diet by removing processed food from your diet.
