Keeping Your New Found Weight Off
You have managed to lose extra weight without trying too hard. The key now is to keep it off and don’t get the extra pounds back again on your body.
Most chances are that you have lost muscles and not much fat. It’s gonna take more than wish full thought to get and keep the unwanted pounds off. Try these strategies, suggested by experts:
New found Love:
You have got into a new relationship; the excitement the bond gives you helps you lose weight without even trying hard. Research shows that women in cohabit relationships are on a high risk of obesity than singles, newlywed women tend to gain around 24 pounds in around 5 years.
Make sure you keep it off. Your partner might be able to eat well and still show off his abs as a man burns around 600 more calories in a day than his partner. Try low fat healthy snack. If your dates involve the knife – fork kind of dinner, plan your time together around activities like cycling, hiking, swimming, biking, or gyming.
Flu:
You have been down with fever, missed office for around a week. Your colleagues and co-workers have started hinting that you are looking better and slimmer. Don’t get really excited and start buying new clothes, maintaining weight loss which happened due to illness isn’t good long term. As you hardly moved your body while you were down with fever, research shows lack of activity for 2 weeks you tend to gain a lot of fat especially around your stomach.
Make sure once you feel better you should start exercising and hit the gym, this will help you lose fat and build muscles. Make sure you consult your physician before you start exercising. 30-Minutes of daily cardio and weight exercise will suffice. Make sure you do full body movements and don’t avoid weight training. Try keeping your diet healthy with lots of fruits, veggies, salad and soups.
Stress:
When you are really tied up with work or otherwise and you don’t have time to have complete meals, this makes you stressful and weak. Once your schedule is back on track and you go for a stress free massage your diet is back on track. It would be tough to keep off the pounds, considering the high amount of tea and coffee you have.
Make sure your diet and exercise is back on track once your schedule is in place. Even if your time is packed make sure you snack healthy and keep your weight in place. Make sure you have vegetables, fruits, dairy products, whole grains, lean protein etc. Once your schedule is back on track take up some form of exercise.
Changed Scenario:
Traveling across countries is not just a stress buster but also gives you time to take a vacation from your unhealthy body.
When your vacation is over make sure you don’t give up healthy eating and exercise. Continue eating mini meals 5-6 times a day which would raise your metabolism. Consume healthy snacks when eating out.
