Juice Detox Diet
Drinking juice is a common think that people do for losing weight. But what exactly does one mean by a Juice Detox Diet? A juice detox diet basically means that the dieter continues to live on juice for a limited time period.
Days before the diet plan is about to end small amounts of food are introduced in the diet. Juice Detox Diet basically means that the dieter only takes juices of fresh fruits and vegetables for losing weight. This type of diet usually lasts for a week.
As the person starts this diet plan he/she is allowed to drink glasses of freshly made fruit or vegetable juice every four hours. In case the dieter feels hungry within these four hours they can have water or herbal tea. But they must ensure that they take enough care in controlling their temptations. There are many people who fail to succeed in this diet plan because they take some high-fat products like cookies or pastries to fill their hunger. Thus care should be taken by the dieter to control their temptations.
On the first day the dieter is just allowed to drink fresh fruits or vegetable juice. Only if the person feels hungry can they have water or herbal tea as mentioned already. On the second day the dieter has fresh fruit or vegetable juice along with the option of adding either say three bananas or 1lb of grapes. On the third day along with having the fresh fruit and vegetable juice they have some raw vegetables and some fruits of their choice.
From the fourth day onwards the person starts having some nuts, whole grains, cereals, beans along with the fresh juice to lose weight effectively. As the diet plan comes to an end small amounts of food are introduced with the juice. Till how long a dieter wants to be on a juice detox diet completely depends on them but it is advised to not continue with the juice detox diet after two weeks.
