Is Morning Workout More Effective

One of the very famous myths, which people who are dieting or those who have been working out believe is that mornings are the best way to work out and gives you better results than working out in the other parts of the day.

Many people don’t exercise because their mornings are packed and they don’t think exercising at any other hour of the day would be that effective.

Let me break this myth once and for all and tell you that exercising in the morning won’t help you burn more calories as compared to the same exercise done in any other part of the day. They isn’t any scientific evidence to prove that morning workouts are better that any other workouts.

Some data is definitely available that suggests working out in the morning is more effective for losing weight. The reason is not physical but psychological, as it is proved that people who workout first thing in the morning, tend to stick to their workout for longer and are regular as far as exercise if concerned. Mornings have lesser number of distractions as compared to the end of the day, when you tend to get tired after a long day at work.

Having said that let me tell you one thing that every kind of workout will have the same effect on your metabolism and will help you burn the same amount of calories regardless of the hour you exercise in. This myth or misconception gained popularity as people felt that if they utilize their evenings for working out, they won’t experience the after burn stage as sleeping will lower the rate of metabolism; this has not been found relevant yet and isn’t supported by any research.

Athletes and body builders tend to use their morning for some aerobic training before eating anything. The only reason is that body won’t get any fresh fuel to burn and use the fat stored in the body as energy. This has again not been backed by any kind of scientific research against or in favor of this belief. You shouldn’t overlook the fact that most of your trainers actually tell you to eat something 30 minutes before the workout.

Mentioned below are some points which you should keep in mind for the success of your weight loss program:

The best and the most natural way to lose weight is when you burn more calories than consumed in the last 24 hours, and whatever time you schedule your workout it won’t make any difference on the rise of your metabolic rate. The only thing critical is that you exercise regularly.
