Increase Your Daily Physical Activity To Burn More Calories
Many of us want to lose weight and to lose weight we adopt many tools such as diet, exercise, etc. But it’s true that many of us fail to carry the momentum for long. We get a gym or health club membership with a hope to workout every day to lose weight.
But after few days and bubbles get burst and we leave the workout program behind. This may be we are not yet mentally ready to get into workout weight loss program to get back in shape. If due to one or other reasons you are not able to continue your workout regimen then at least try to be physically active.
Many recent researches have indicated that half an hour of physical activities daily will make you healthier and fit. You can still lose weight if you are active through out the day. Set a target of burning 1,000 calories in a week, it is at least better than being a couch potato.
You don’t have to follow at set rule, all you need to do is get engaged in daily activities and keep moving. Anything that involvement should be welcomed. Use your creativity and dig out new ways to be physically active.
Here are some simple ways by which you can be physically active and lose weight effectively.
Take a walk in your garden for 5-10 minutes. If you don’t have one, then go to nearest park and walk there. Also try to bend and pluck weeds. By doing this you can burn more than 60 calories easily.
Walk around your house, outside or inside of it for 5-10 minutes and you can burn 60 calories.
Don’t use escalator or elevator, avoid it completely. Instead use stairs. You can burn around 15-20 calories by using each flight of stairs.
Go and sing your favorite song at a karaoke bar, this way you will burn 20-30 calorie or even more if you can dance too.
Play with your pet or with your children, this will burn ample amount of calories and you will feel energetic.
These physical activities are as effective as working out in a gym and you can burn hell lot of calories. Moreover, you can do these activities where even you are. You can do it in your office, or when you are at your home. You can be more physically active by doing old mundane tasks. The only thing you need to do is to have a fire to be physically active and use your imaginations to make it so.
By being physically active and with the help of healthy diet, you have a better chance to lose weight in a efficient manner.
