You exercise daily, eat healthy, always watch your portion, you have quit smoking and get enough rest still you are not able to get rid of those last few pounds. These few pounds haunt you and you are giving more than 100 per cent to get rid of this. Well, don’t worry this doesn’t only happen to you. Almost everyone struggle hard to shed those last pounds. Here are a few tips and suggestion that may help you analyze your situation.
Do you really have extra pounds to lose? Many people, especially women think that they still have some extra pounds to lose. They try to set a target and keep weighing daily to achieve the number. At times they also undertake rigorous exercise regimen or diet to achieve that number. Often that number is not realistic. Give a deep thought regarding why do you want to lose that extra pounds, is it that you weight that much ages back when you were on high school, or your best friend weigh that much so you too want to achieve that number.
Why do you think that you need to weight few pounds less – have you ever been that weight and felt healthier and better or it’s just a random number that popped in your mind. The more muscle you gain, more fat you will burn. Remember, muscles too have weight and it weigh more than fat so it takes fewer space than fat. That means that those last few pounds can be your muscles weigh and not fat. Be happy that you just have few extra pounds to lose. There are chink of people who have to deal with larger amount. So maintain your healthy diet and exercise routine. Being healthy is more important that being skinny.
