How to Diet Without Dieting
Many people want to lose weight but either they hate to diet or they are afraid of diet. For many people diet means being hungry, dull and loss of energy. On the other hand many people totally believe in dieting to lose extra pounds.
It’s not necessary to diet in order to lose weight. You just need to make small changes in your eating habit and lifestyle to make some considerable changes to your waistline and your state of mind.
Smoothie in the morning: Now its time to add some goodness in your life. Treat yourself in the breakfast. Make some healthy smoothie in the breakfast. You think preparing smoothie takes time. Well, it just takes 5-6 minutes. Make smoothie in the breakfast and for mid-afternoon snacks. Adding some super charged food in the smoothie can make it tastier and healthier. You can add berries, butter, yogurt, oatmeal, and protein powder makes it healthy and will fill you up too.
Stop wasting calories: Try and completely avoid foods that rich in empty calories. Foods such as white bread, soft drink, soda water, etc. carry empty calories and provide no nutritional value. If you are really crazy about soda based drinks than instead of having the normal soda drink, opt for diet soda. Replace white bread with whole wheat bread or multi grain bread. Whole grain and whole wheat is a better option as they will provide vital minerals and vitamins. Whole grain bread also provides fiber.
Opt for fresh food: Make it a habit to eat fresh vegetable, fresh fruits and fresh meat. Preparing your own meal using fresh food at your home is a great step towards the right direction. When it comes to meat, then try having lean meat as in lean pork, lean chicken, lean beef and lean turkey. Lean meat is a rich source of protein and this will fuel your cell and keep you full and charged. Dark green leafy vegetable provides iron and fiber which are vital for your health and will also help you in losing weight.
Get going, keep moving: Take out time daily for exercise and make it a part of your lifestyle. Even brisk walking for 20-30 minutes is good enough to keep you slim, fit and active. If you love outdoor sports such as soccer, rugby, baseball, etc. then never miss a chance to play it. If you love to swim or biking then take out time and get indulged. If you are at home then play with your kid or pet, this way you will burn your calories. Bottom line is keep moving and be slim.
Eat frequent meal: If you are habituated of having three big meals in a day, then you have to change your lifestyle. Instead of having three meals in a day, have five-six smaller and healthier meals in a day. This will pump your metabolic rate, which in turn will burn more calories and you will lose weight faster.
