Vacation is the time to have fun, travel to some lovely places and gather memories. But vacation is also the time to gain weight.
Now if someone has been working real hard to lose all the extra pounds he/she would not like all their efforts to go in vain just because they overate on their vacation. Nobody also likes exercising too much or working out on their vacation. But following some useful tips can really help people in not gaining unwanted calories during vacation. Here’s how.

Try and keep your breakfast simple. Most hotels have some tasty and high calorie dishes for breakfast that includes pastries, chocolate pancakes and so on. It is best to stay away from them. Most people try to indulge in them because of the money that they are paying for their accommodation. Instead one can have fruits, cereal to stay away from calories.
Don’t drink too much during your vacation. It is best to limit to two drinks a day while you are holidaying with family and friends. Have few shots of rum or vodka or even tequila. These do not have calories. Drinking in moderation will help you enjoy the trip more and you will not regret later. Though this one doesn’t sound like a great idea but exercising a little bit or working out is a good idea to stay away from calories. Walking on the beach or jogging can keep you feeling refresh throughout your holiday.
Do not over indulge. As this will only make you regret later. Just because you see some tasty food it doesn’t mean that you have to eat everything that you are paying for. Controlling your cravings and allowing yourself to indulge within limits will help you enjoy your holiday more. If this doesn’t sound too great an idea then keep drinking water as this will suppress your appetite and make you feel full. And you won’t have to over indulge or overeat.
