There is a misconception that healthy foods cost more as compare to normal food item but truth is totally different from it. Following is the list of food items that are less costly as well as health beneficial too.
Fruit Diet- Diet which includes seasonal fruits is healthy one. Fruits are rich in vitamins and minerals so it can be a rich source of nutrition. One can eat affordable seasonal fruit such as banana, orange, mango, grapes etc.
Fresh Beans- Beans are the storehouse of protein and the more interesting fact is that that are budget friendly too. It is a good source of fiber and it reduces the cholesterol level. It also maintains the blood sugar level. A normal person can easily afford it and make it a part of diet chart. It can replace the costly food items like seafood, poultry and meat.
Egg- Egg is also a source of protein and low in cost. One can prepare omelets, low-fat quiches and sandwiches made with eggs. It is low in fat, calorie and cholesterol.
Yogurt- A fat free yogurt is the best healthy breakfast option. It can be purchased at low price from market or even prepared at home. A variety of healthy food items can be made with the help of this.
Peanut Butter- Peanut butter is a source of Vitamin B, E, fat and protein and it is beneficial food item for heart. Two tablespoons of peanut butter is recommended for daily intake as more intake of peanut butter provides more calories to the body.
Oats- Oats are known as one of the healthiest as well as cheapest breakfast option. It is full of health beneficial nutrition. Oats are rich in proteins and fiber. Also, it is a tasty food item as it provides a variety of food options.
