Healthy Breakfast Options

You must have heard from more than one source that a healthy breakfast is a key to a healthy you, if you begin your day on a healthy note, you will remain fit and energetic throughout the day. Mentioned below are some really healthy breakfast options that you can choose from, here you wouldn’t compromise on taste and eat healthy.

Option#1

1 slice melon cut into cubes
1 banana/ pear/apple chopped in cubes
50g of your favourite Cereal
2 tbs pro-biotic yogurt
Mix these ingredients in a large bowl and enjoy a delicious yet healthy breakfast.

Option#2 Breakfast – the Brazilian way

Brazilians tend to stick to a healthy and fit diet. For breakfast they generally opt for bread and butter with coffee or milk. You can make it healthy by opting for whole wheat bread with low fat and low calorie spread along with coffee without milk and a fruit. You can also try and have yogurt along with your granola bar. These options will be rich in protein and dairy products.

Option# 3

You should stay clearly off sugar, even when you buy products from the super market, make sure you read the ingredients and nutritional values correctly.

The option mentioned below is low in sugar. Try muesli (which is a no-sugar cereal) along with soy milk or low fat milk. Don’t buy prepared juices from the market; opt for fresh juices if you have a juicer at home. Mix fruits and vegetables to make your own juice which will aid you in digestion besides giving your morning a healthy start.

If you are addicted to tea or coffee try having them without sugar and with low fat milk, better still opt for green tea.

Healthy Tip:

Make sure what you eat in the morning is rich in calcium; milk is obviously the best and easiest form of calcium but if you are a vegan or don’t have milk you can go in for Soy milk or calcium supplements.
