Healthiest Form of Juices

Many health conscious people and dieters think juices are their best friends. They don’t realize that many juices are loaded with sugar and are extremely unhealthy. These juices tend to have an opposite reaction on your body than what you expected. Said that it is also true that if juices are chosen properly they would aid you to lose weight.

It is extremely important for you to choose naturally made juices which are made of real fruits and contain more than 80% fruit. These juices are amazing for weight loss as they are low in calorie, besides they have many other health benefits.

Apple Juice: Contains around 117 calories in 8 Ounce. You need to drink apple juice for antioxidants which are helped to fight cancer- Polyphenols; it also has iron, potassium and Vitamin C. When you choose apple in juice form you should know a whole apple has more nutrients than the juice.

Cranberry Juice: Contains around 116 calories in 8 Ounce. Cranberry juice contains antioxidants, Vitamin C, flavonoids (which are good for your heart) and anti-bacteria property. Cranberries are sharp, hence most cranberry juice have sugar added; choose the no sugar variety to avoid having additional calorie.

Red Grapes Juice: Contains around 154 calories in 8 Ounce. There is a compound in the fruit’s skin which might help you tackle risk of cancer, it also contains potassium and vitamin C. Make sure you choose red grape juice.

Grapefruit Juice: Contains around only 96 calories in 8 Ounce. Grapefruit juice has potassium, Vitamin C, antioxidant and beta-carotene. This juice tends to affect the process of some medicines as these stay in your blood longer. Make sure you check with your doctor before having it.

Orange Juice: Contains around 110 calories in 8 Ounce, it contains Potassium, foliate and of course Vitamin C. Try opting for the fortified version of orange juice as this has more Vitamin D, calcium, and omega-3s, which are good for heart.

Pineapple Juice: Contains around 133 calories in 8 Ounce. This contains Vitamin B6 & C along with potassium.  Whole pineapple contains an enzyme which aids digestion, hence it is better to have the fruit instead of the juice.

Pomegranate Juice: Contains around 160 calories in 8 Ounce. This one has antioxidant, an acid which might help fight cancer, potassium and Vitamin C. Try blend this one with blueberry and acai, which are again filled with antioxidants.

Tomato Juice: Contains around Only 53 calories in 8 Ounce.  Tomato juice has lypocene, vitamin C, potassium and beta-carotene. These juices might be high on sodium, hence try use low sodium variant.
