Good news is these tips are very simple and very easy to follow. Without disturbing you daily routine you can still incorporate these tips to make you slim and healthy.
This easy and straightforward weight loss diet plan intends to achieve three objectives. It is to cut down the calorie intake, increase intake of essential nutrients such as minerals, protein and vitamins. Last but not the least, is to reduce the intake of fatty foods that are cited with health problems and weight gain.
Meat and Fish: When it comes to eating fish or meat, always opt for lean meat and trim off surplus fat, do away with skin and cook the same by baking or grilling. Ideally avoid or completely avoid fried foods. In case you need fry, use stir fry with lesser amount of oil. Also try to use low fat or zero fat polyunsaturated spread.
Avoid sugar and sweet foods: If possible try to cut down your sugar intake. Sugar and sweet foods are generally high in calories and add extra fat in out body. If you have sweet tooth then try to have sweet food that includes zero-sugar or sugar free. Avoid soft drink, a 200 ml of cola contains approximately 140 calories. Avoiding such foods will help you in losing weight.
Avoid salt and salty food: If you have fluid retention problem then you should avoid salty food, instead of that have fresh fruit, it be of help in fluid retention. Avoid snacks such as popcorn, chips that you would like to munch in between meals. If you want to munch, have a portion or two of fresh fruits.
Have plenty of fresh vegetable and fruits: Include fresh fruits in your daily diet. Fruits are rich source of vital nutrients such as minerals, vitamins and fibre. These nutrients are very helpful in weight loss and make your body system to work efficiently. Also have vegetable, if you want to cook vegetable them cook the same in steam or minimum water.
Eat regularly: Develop healthy eating habits, have at least three meals per day. You can get the best result if you can have 5-6 smaller meals instead of few big meals. Smaller meals will increase your metabolic rate, which in turn burn more calories and help in weight loss. Always have your breakfast.
Skipping breakfast will make you hungrier and eventually you will end up eating more. Also, make sure that you are having right and healthy food or else you may end up eating the wrong ones. Also avoid eating fast food and packaged foods as these are high in fat contain and also cause weight gain.
If you are hungry between meals then try to eat snacks that are nutritious and low on calorie. Convenience foods are high in calorie, sugar and fat.
You can cheat occasionally, it is acceptable. Having a scoop of your favourite ice cream or couple of chocolate piece after a healthy meal.
