Get Closer To Your Weight Loss Resolution

New Year is just round the corner, and like any other year we would all make our resolutions to lose weight and lead a healthy life. Follow these tips and unlike other years you wouldn’t be unsuccessful in your weight loss resolutions.

Tip# 1. Drinks Lots of Water:

Remember to have at least 8 glasses of water if not more in a day. This tip is utmost important when it comes to weight loss. By drinking water you would lose weight, be really energetic and your metabolism would become really high.

Tip# 2. Remove Sugar from Diet:

Sugar is full of zero calories; it only has calories and no nutrients at all. You should eliminate sugar from your diet (which includes your liquid intake). Instead you should try to have lots of fruits and vegetables, along with yogurt, herbal tea etc. If you cannot rule out sugar from your diet, have your desert in moderation and keep a check on your portion size.

Tip#3. Say no to Alcohol:

If you drink alcohol you wouldn’t be able to succeed in weight loss tryst. Alcohol stays in your body for around 2 days, you body wouldn’t burn fat or digest food. If you have alcohol you would be stopping your body from losing weight. If you cannot completely eliminate alcohol, restrict your alcohol intake to 1-2 drinks a day.

Tip#4. Workout:

You cannot lose weight healthily by just dieting; you need to incorporate cardio and weight training in your daily regime. You should exercise for 5 days a week for 30-40 minutes. Make sure you start with a warm-up, exercise and then cool down as well as stretch.

Tip # 5: Set your individual Weight Loss Goal:

Everyone is different and everyone has unique requirements, you should decide on your weight loss goals, regime and diet as per your personal requirements. You should try and maintain a weight loss diary and keep a track of your diet, workout and progress. Make note of your goals and also note down everything you eat and how many calories you burn. When you initiate your plan for weight loss, regularly track your weight on a weekly basis before breakfast.
