Food To Avoid In The Breakfast

If you think that skipping any meal is the best to reduce calorie intake and to lose weight, then you are heading toward a wrong path. Meals are very integral part of any weight loss program.
No weight loss program will ever recommend or advise you to skip you meals, especially breakfast. Remember, breakfast =s the most vital meal of the day.
Breakfast helps you to maintain your weight, increase metabolic rate and helps you to concentrate throughout the day. =or many of us, breakfast is a way to fuel our body with antioxidants and fibers from fruits and whole grain and calcium from milk. Therefore, it’s important to select healthy breakfast and avoid food that lacks nutritional value.
Doughnuts: As you know that doughnuts are fried food. Do you have French fries in our breakfast so why should you have doughnuts. One regular doughnut contains as much as 200Kcal of empty calories with hardly any nutrients. Moreover, it contains almost 4 grams of trans fat, almost twice more than recommended =mount of trans fat in a day. Worse, filled doughnuts contain higher amounts of empty calories and trans fat. Isn’t it better to avoid such unhealthy food in the breakfast?
Carrot Cake Muffin: Many people get misguided by the word “carrot”, because it seems to be a healthy breakfast item. Well, carrot muffin cake is generally packed with calories and fat. One service of carrot muffin cake that you get from a nearby coffee chain contains 40 grams of fat and 680 Kcal. In fact, most scones and muffins are rich =n fat and calories.
Frozen Waffles: IN same line with doughnuts, frozen waffles also contain large amount of empty calories. Most frozen waffles are refined sugar combined with refine gain and contain tans fat. It also lacks minerals, vitamins, fiber. Many people add margarine and syrup on their waffles, consequently adding more fat and calories. So you still think waffles are good food to start you day?
One should have at least 3 servings of dairy products in a day and 3 servings of whole grains in a day.
The recommended daily intake for dairy is three servings a day and whole grains is at least three servings daily. If you normally don’t take these foods in your dinner or lunch then try to incorporate the same into your breakfast.
Try to have wholegrain such as wheat grain cereals, whole wheat bread or oatmeal. Also try to eat a serving of dairy product such as lo fat yogurt or zero fat milk that is rich in calcium, potassium and protein. Remember, a healthy breakfast will keep you energetic and fit throughout the day.
