Flushing out toxins and detoxifying your body is not that hard. You just need to eat healthy and nutritious foods to detoxify your body. There are several detox diets that helps in flushing out toxins from the body. You can also use anyone of them. Detox diet also helps in weight loss and pumps up the metabolism.

To detoxify your body you just need to develop a healthy eating habit and avoid a few foods. One easy way to eliminate toxins from your body is simply by eating lots of vegetables, fruits and fish. Try to have just fresh vegetables, fruits and sea foods for few days. In just couple of days you can detoxify your body and will feel energetic and pumped up.

Best foods that you should eat to detox your body:

Blueberries speed up the detox process and are also beneficial for kidneys.

Grapefruit is another amazing fruit that helps in eliminating ill RBC (Red Blood Cells). It also helps a lot in maintaining a healthy cholesterol level.

Try to eat pears and apples daily. These fruits are rich in dietary fiber, pectin, which helps in digestion and prevents constipation.

Have pineapple and radish, it’s an amazing fruit packed with vital nutrients and also helps in digestion.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic. It reduces the risk of forming blood clot and also helps in managing blood pressure.

The foods you should avoid:

Refined carbs should be completely forbidden from your diet: these include biscuits, cookies, cakes etc.

Fats which are included in butter, fried stuff, margarine, mayonnaise etc. should be completely kept off your limits. You can use olive oil while cooking.

Red meat is a total no-no, and you should avoid it completely in a detox diet; as red meat is very tough to digest and it also has an enormously high amount of fat. Red meat includes ham, bacon, etc. These also contain high amount of salt and it is extremely addictive. You can swap red meat with healthier option like chicken, fish, egg, etc.

Be very sure of what you drink like coffee, soda, tea; do not take up an unhealthy option. Also should have at least 8 glasses of water, consume natural fruit juice and herbal tea.

Don’t eat addictive foods which have high amount of sugar. Cold cut which is available in the market is full of addictive which might intoxicate your system. You cannot eat any junk food when you are on a detox diet.
