If you eat the correct type of food, you can enhance your frame of mind and make your otherwise dull day happier. In here we will tell you what you need to eat to boost you low mood.

Out mood is directly related to what we eat. You need to have a well balanced, healthy diet, which should incorporate energizing food. Let’s have a look at the best foods which benefits our mood.

Chilly: Chilli contains capsaicin which brings the taste; it motivates your nerves and send a signal to brain. Brain then discharge endorphins, which is a natural way to reduce pain, raises metabolism.

Banana: This is high in magnesium, they help if you lead a stressful and hectic life. Magnesium is essential for generation of energy. A banana contains tryptophan also which has a hormone that releases happiness. They also are high on potassium which tackles stress. It is a perfect way to fight exhaustion, restlessness and bad temper.

Water: You might be feeling low because of dehydration and fatigue, this tends to slow blood flow in our body. One should consume 8-12 water glasses per day.

Indian gooseberry: This is full of Vitamin C which needs to absorb iron. This makes you more alert and drives away fatigue. Eat it in raw form or in form of juice Indian Gooseberry helps you boost your mood.

Seafood: The entire group is high in selenium that is a mineral which works wonders to boost your mood.  It helps discharge energy and decrease anxiety. Seafood is high in protein content; it makes blood absorb carbs slower, which makes you upbeat and more dynamic & productive.

Eggs: Egg yolks have high amount of dietary lecithin this helps the brain function normally. It affects mood, enhances your concentration and memory.

Whole Grain: You should consume whole grain in small quantities throughout the day. It would stabilize the supply of glucose in your blood, which is important to feel good.

Spinach: Spinach is high in folic acid, this can reduce the level of homocysteine which is linked with depression.

Garlic: Garlic has high content of selenium which makes you smile, give your food the much needed kick.

Red Meat (Lean): Women generally are deficient in iron deficiency; this can lead to fatigue, irritability, depression and loss of memory. Red meat is high in iron, you can have chicken and fish which are healthier & better options.
