A very popular and widely used to deal with sweet or sugar cravings is having one piece of dark chocolate. However we need more than just dark chocolate as we have so many sweet options are available. Mentioned below are some super and healthy ways to curb sugar and sweet cravings.
The healthiest way is to have some fruit which contains sugar in natural form and also satisfies your sweet tooth.
If you have identified that your problem is having more sweets than required all you require is avoid them. No it isn’t so simple; especially if you love having sugar and sweet laden food. You have to make a deliberate effort to reduce your sugar intake, which is going to be very tough for a week or two. You might have headaches in your initial week, but later you would get used to.
You can also fight your sugar craving with meditation, try sitting back on a chair, take deep breaths and imagine reaching your weight loss target (whatever it is). Make sure you feel happy that you want to lose weight and maintain a positive state of mind. You can fight these cravings by increasing the intake of vitamin B3 in the food you eat. Vitamin B3, or Niacin, is available in protein-rich foods like meat, eggs, dairy products, peanuts and some green veggies. Make sure you consult your physician before consuming high amount of Vitamin B3 as having more than required vitamin can be dangerous for your health.
Another way is when you develop the craving for sweet next, don’t immediately rush to the fridge or kitchen, and wait for some time and your craving will most likely subside.
