Feel Full Without Gaining Weight
We have all felt the sensation when our stomach starts growling, we feel famished and just want to grab and eat the first food item that comes in front of our eyes. When we eat post being so hungry we tend to eat lots.
Always remember to have a glass full of water when hunger pangs strike. It would help you make a little fuller and you would get some time to make a sensible choice of what to eat.
Throw away all the junk food that is piling in your house, do not even go towards a grocery shop if you are famished as it would make you eat things you shouldn’t. Once in a while you can opt for a mini candy or a small size chips bag. Request your family and friends to support you and don’t tempt you in eating all the junk. Don’t say a complete no to these temptation foods, having small serving once in a while is alright, you should know when to stop yourself.
Eat fibre rich food, fibre is insoluble and tends to fill you up soon. It all goes right through the body and doesn’t stick to you in form of fat and calories. You should always stick to having your daily intake of fibre. You can choose from light popcorn, apple, and whole wheat pasta. Make sure you have fibre for breakfast along with your morning coffee or tea.
Try and eat complex carbs as well as lean protein. The latter is low in calorie and fills you up instantly. Try having scramble egg or chicken breast salad. While having eggs remember to remove yolk from the egg. Don’t have sugar loaded food.
Keep lots of veggies and fruits in your fridge. Keep cut veggies in the fridge so when you feel hungry you can grab some carrot sticks, celery etc. Make sure you have almonds and dry fruits for snack. Opt for low fat protein shakes.
Visit health juice bars and try low fat smoothies and whole fruit juices.
