Fat Burning Diet

Fat Burning Diet is developed by Jay Robb, Clinical nutritionist. He himself was suffering from reactive hypoglycemia and to stabilize his blood sugar level he developed this diet. Jay claims that his diet is more focused on increasing the level of energy. Once the energy level is up, dieters will naturally lose weight even without trying.

Many people generally try low carbohydrate diet to lose weight, though this diet helps in weight loss whilst leave dieters tired and worn-out in the long run. Moreover, many low carbohydrate diets are also associated with health risks. Unlike other low-carbs diet, Fat Burning diet recommends the participants to toggle between low carbohydrate and high carbohydrate days.

Dieters are recommended to have three meals in a day. Once in a week, dieters are allowed to eat free meal whatever and wherever they want to for one hour.

This diet is based on underlying principle of making your body to burn fat as its main energy source. By shifting between high and low carbohydrate manipulates glycogen metabolism and this tricks the body so that fat dose not get stored.

Recommended Foods:

While selecting food you need to be aware of the carbohydrate content. It’s very important to choose foods that are good source of carbohydrate. Wrong carbohydrate can cause sleepiness after meal and is also a major cause of fatigue.

Recommended carbs foods are white and sweet potatoes, pasta, brown breads, brown rice and fruits. This diet also lays focus on healthy fats and high quality protein. Protein in very important, as it helps in stabilizing blood glucose level and also helps in supply of energy for the whole day.

To compliment this diet plan, dieters are also recommended to undertake weight training and walking to boost metabolism and to increase muscles strength.

Sample Diet Plan – Low Carbohydrate Day

-Breakfast: Have egg white, you can have it with salsa and cheddar cheese.
-Lunch: In Lunch dieters can have vegetable salads with avocado and tuna.
-Dinner: Dieter can have lean meat with peanut sauce and broccoli.

Sample Diet Plan – High Carbohydrate Day

-Breakfast: You can have wheat bread with honey, or you can also opt for yogurt and fruit salad.
-Lunch: Dieters can have sweet potato with chicken or turkey breast.
-Dinner: You can have lean meat, or chicken breast with pasta and zucchini.
