Eat Eggs To Lose Weight

Recently egg diet has gain popularity as many people who tried this, have witnessed a sharp weight loss. In fact many celebrities also tried this diet and the result was same, tremendous weight loss.

There is a success story of a famous celebrity’s husband who lost almost 60 pounds in ten months just by eating 9 eggs in a day. Many people have been benefited by this diet and now weight loss experts and dietitians are exploring egg diets to lose weight naturally and easily.

There are many adoption of egg diet that is readily available on the Internet or in the health and fitness magazines. The original and most popular version of egg diet doesn’t actually consist of having only eggs but it also involves deriving the bulk of protein from eggs.

Egg diet is actually different from Atkins diet, which emphasize on avoiding carbs intake. In this diet, participants are allowed to have two or more eggs in the breakfast together with low carb vegetables, grape fruit and lean protein.

In lunch and dinner, dieters are recommended to have two eggs along with chicken and fish for lean protein. Egg diet also allows dieters to have low carb vegetables and a limited amount of fresh fruits. However, other carb rich foods such as potatoes, pasta, and bread are strictly limited.

Another version of egg diet is egg and grape fruit diet, which involve eating half a grapefruit in every meal. Rest of the diet plan is same to that mentioned above.

There an extreme version of egg diet, which involves having just hard boiled eggs and drinking water. This option is not very healthy and should be avoided.

Under egg diet plan, dieters are recommended to have lean protein, grape fruit, low carbohydrate vegetables, water and eggs.

In breakfast, participant can have half a grapefruit along with two eggs. In Lunch, you can have green salads and roasted chicken. Whereas in dinner you can eat two egg omelet with tomato and spinach.

This diet is actually a crash diet and fails to provide vital nutrients to our body. One can lose weight rapidly with the help of this diet but there are chances that weight will bounce back once out of this diet. Eating only eggs is not a healthy option to lose weight and the extreme version of this diet is very unhealthy. Before undergoing this diet it’s advisable to consult your doctor or fitness expert.
