Be focused, as it will help you in losing extra pounds and will also keep you in track.

As you need to spend some time to establish your aim and focus, similarly you need to spend some time to mentally prepare yourself before undergoing any weight loss program. You have to undergo lots of changes, such as your eating habits, you need to alter your sleeping and wake up time, your daily routine may change and need to dedicate enough time toward your weigh loss program. So, it’s very important to spend time and be mentally strong and prepare before undertaking any weight loss program.
Maintain a food diary and monitor your weight loss:
Make a note or if possible write down when, what and where you eat. This information might help you in keeping you on track. You need to understand you relationship with food platter and food as this will help you in losing weight in long run.

We eat a lot of junk and fast food that may be packed with fat, salt, and sugar. By cutting down the junk food we can save lots of calories and will lose weight too. If you want to eat, eat a healthier alternative, this way you will still eat but at the same time you will lose weight too.
Set realistic target:
Loosing 2lbs is good enough. Don’t take any short cut to lose more weight. In order to lose weight fast, many people undergo crash diet or do extensive exercise than what is required. This is not a good way to lose weight. Remember, weight loss in a long-term phenomenon. There is no short cut to lose weight. Have proper diet and do regular exercise for at least 20-30 minutes in a day, thrice a week. This will help you lose extra pounds.
Have a healthy diet:
Try to avoid snacks in between meals, snacks are packed with calories, fats, sugar and salt, that can sabotage your weight loss program. If you want to munch something in between meals, opt for fruits. Fruits will provide essential vitamins and minerals and will also help in maintaining weight. Also knowledge of nutrition will help you to choose the right sort of food.
