Crash or fad diet tends the rise the amount of cortisol in your body and would make you feel extremely stressed. Stress would make you hungry and raise instance of emotional eating which make you put on extra weight.

If your body accumulates toxins it will make you fatter. If your body is highly toxic you body with try to dilute toxics with help of fat.

You should consult a physician while initiating a weight loss plan. There are many health conditions which would make you gain weight like adrenal fatigue, sad digestion, thyroid etc. If this happens then weight loss would never become a reality.

Hence if you have a health related problem which is making you put on weight then you need to tackle that before you start your weight loss program. This would make your body ready for weight loss with higher amount of energy, better metabolic rate and improved digestion.
