Dieting Tips From The Modelling World

Models and even movie stars need to stay slim and fit because if they don’t they would be out of job. People belonging to the modeling world have certain tricks of staying slim and fit. Who else but the models can give you tips on how to cut down the extra pounds from your body.
Models successful as well as unsuccessful have been questioned about their perfect figure and most of the tips are common. Some of the most common tips which they give are mentioned below:
Lots and Lots of water:
This isn’t an advice which you would be hearing for the first time and you wouldn’t need a model to suggest you to drink lots of water. Water keeps you hydrated and your metabolism high.
Cut the amount of alcohol you consume:
This is their favourite tip; it is very difficult for them to keep off alcohol as the need to attend a lot of social events. Alcohol reduces your body’s skill to burn fat. It also tends to dehydrate you and even if you drink water the effect gets reduced due to high alcohol consumption.
The models eat a lot of Mediterranean & Japanese cuisine as these foods are lower in calories and full of nutrition. These diets are made up mostly of vegetable and seafood, which would make the food healthy vis-a-vis the high fat foods consumed.
Models also need snacks occasionally; they generally prefer eating small, healthy nutritious meals and avoid the “three big meals a day”. This way they would keep yourself away from starving, your metabolism would be higher and you would lose weight fast.
Increased Muscle Mass:
Muscles are obviously heavier, if you compare them to fat; but they tend to burn calories faster. If you get more muscles, it would be easier to lose weight. To gain muscle mass you would have to strength train yourself regularly along with cardio.
Choose nutrients which help your diet:
If you have Vitamin B complex; it would make you raise your metabolism and make you more energetic. Calcium also has the same effect but somehow it makes you sleepy. If you want to control your appetite you can try omega-3 fatty acids which would come from nuts and fish. Protein is good for building muscles and shouldn’t be missed out on.
Cheating is alright occasionally:
Models do not diet on and off; healthy eating is a way of life for them. This doesn’t mean you can give up your pizza and chocolate forever. You just need to keep these indulgences lower and you would go on well.
