Dieting Leads To Hair Loss
Some studies have recently said that dieting may lead to hair loss in some cases. The diet programs which are designed by experts, suggests their client to have vitamin supplements for prevention of hair loss, dermatologists on the other hand believe that vitamins alone aren’t suffice for preventing hair loss caused by frequent or unhealthy weight loss, besides Vitamin A actually magnifies the problem of hair loss.
Well this is not a phenomenon that everyone who loses weight faces (that would turn most of our models bald) if you maintain a healthy diet your hair would be in perfect condition. If you are still scared that you might lose hair while dieting, you can restrict the intake of Vitamin A in your diet. You should avoid food like carrots, cantaloupe, spinach, apricot, kale, papaya, mango, beef, etc.
You should still not completely avoid Vitamin A as it is extremely good for your system. It plays a vital role as far as vision, growth of bones, reproduction, division and differentiation of cells division, is concerned. Vitamin A aids our system to regulate our immune system, this helps in prevention from various infections by developing white blood cell which demolish many harmful viruses and bacteria. Vitamin A is also the key ingredient in keeping infections at bay.
Still there are many people who have witnessed the problem of hair loss that has occurred due to dieting, that was the reason why the research was conducted; hence this just cannot be a myth that revolves around the dieting circuit. If you are someone who is experiencing the same problem then you should take this issue up seriously and consult your dietician.
Make sure you resort to healthy ways when it comes to weight loss and don’t take up any unhealthy measures for losing weight instantly. You might experience sudden weight loss, but these might pose many health related problems of which hair loss is one.
