Keep track of your portions:
If you are able to tackle the right amount of portion during your meals you would be able to control your weight in a better manner. Don’t always stick to the rule that you always have to clean your plate; better still you need to take out less food than you think you can eat. We are taught by our parents that we need to eat whatever is served on our plate, this is alright for kids as children have high metabolism. Adults need to control their portion as their metabolism is lesser than children. Keep in mind that your portions shouldn’t be more than your fist and also consume food based on the food pyramid.
Consume lots of Fruits & Veggies:
Your parents always told you to consume more fruits and veggies, and as usual they were right. Fruits and veggies are full of antioxidants and vitamins. They also aid you in flushing out all the bad toxins from your body; besides all this they are low in the number of calories.
Drink lots of water:
Dr ink lots of water, as water will help in flushing out toxins in our body, it also helps in making you full faster. The best part about water is that it helps in keeping your entire body hydrated, make you feel and look healthier.
Reduce Sweet intake:
Restrict your intake of aerated drinks. Say goodbye to junk foods like doughnuts and burger and eat a lot of veggies, fruits and nuts. Nuts are blessed with goodness which gives you high amount of energy; fruits and veggies are also good for your teeth as compared to junk food, besides giving your lots of health benefits. Try having your sweet treat once a week and not daily.
