Cold or Warm Water – Which One is Best for Weight Loss

Water certainly is considered effective for losing weight. But there continues to be a difference of opinion whether warm water is also equally effective for losing weight as compared to cold water.

It is believed that warm water betters the metabolism process and thus a person ends up losing weight. Whether the water is warm or cold the fact is that drinking lots of water can certainly help a person in losing weight. But it is very important to understand that one cannot simply survive on water alone. To ensure effective weight loss there should be a proper balance of physical exercise and a well-balanced diet.

As this will provide the person with energy and help them not suffer from fatigue. Water helps in burning calories which generally gets stored because of various factors. It could be either because we don’t care about the food that we are taking or because of a very unhealthy lifestyle that we follow. There could be plenty of reasons for a sudden gain in weight.

Therefore the best way to deal with it would be by starting to exercise. It is also important to note that when a person is exercising and following a water diet (whether cold or warm) simultaneously, it must be ensured that they increase their intake of water to protect their body from getting dehydrated.

One of the mistakes that people make when they follow a water diet is that they sometimes fail to control their cravings. They add sugar to the water that they are taking or drink soda water just to change the taste of their mouth. Well all this will only put all their efforts in vein as sugar and soda are both high calorie products.

Hence taking them would only mean inviting more calories to get settled in their body. Since the confusion regarding whether cold or warm water is more effective in weight loss continues to persist, it would only help if one talks to their doctor and finds out which diet plan suits their body requirement best. This will guarantee accurate and healthy results and prevent unnecessary damage to their health.
