Cardio or Aerobics

If you want to pick up a workout regime, and are confused then you should give cardio workout or aerobics a fair chance.Aerobics is extremely popular especially among women, elderly, starters or people who aren’t very active. Cardio is seen as a more attractive form of workout by men, highly active, people who like to challenge themselves.

The key difference between aerobics and cardio is the intensity and the amount of effort you put in your workout. Aerobics include consistently paced, easy, long duration workout. Cardio is definitely harder and helps in improving overall fitness as it regulates our heart and entire cardio system which results in overall better health.

The key to the right workout is the intensity and time of the workout. Aerobics are low intensity workout for a longer duration. This workout makes your body move and sway for a longer duration. Aerobics are great way of a fitness dance which is extremely enjoyable. Aerobics are extremely simple, fun and rejuvenating workout. Cardio on the other hand, is an extremely high intensity exercise which has more complex, difficult and challenging movements. The cardio moves are done at an extremely fast pace to optimize our overall cardio system and boost our heart rate.

Your intensity level remains in your hand, you should decide on the basis of your comfort and health.  It is extremely important for you to get used to high as well as low impact workouts, if you want to maintain good fitness and health levels.

Lower intensity workout wouldn’t wear your body out, and it will regulate your appetite well. That is the reason why we don’t feel hungry after a low impact exercise. Low impact workout can maximize fat and calorie burn if you do it for a longer time.

Research suggests that low impact exercise is best as it involves lesser stress on your body. High impact exercises make you feel really hungry.
