Baby Boomers Lose Weight
Baby boomers should realise that it isn’t ever too late to incorporate an exercise and diet plan in your life. If you think you cannot run any longer and can take vigorous workout.
You can also enter the weight loss and fitness more by spinning on a stationary exercise cycle. What you must do to effectively lose weight, you should incorporate high power interval workout.
You must be thinking that you can easily lose weight just pedaling comfortably on the bike. You should actually choose a bike which has an interval training mode. You should not choose fancy digital cycles just because it has a “fat burning mode”, this can be a mere manufacturing gimmick and you should avoid falling in this trap.
You should select a computerized or manual bike with interval training. You should actually choose 30 minutes of interval training on your bike.
You should initiate with a 5 minutes warm up on the bike, you can raise pedal resistance to 100 RPM, this might be challenging but it isn’t impossible. You should try to keep this speed for an interval point on the bike’s screen. You should then alter speed for the next spike.
You should try to swap high speed and low speed workout when spinning. You would have to follow a two minute spike for each high and casual pedaling. You should constantly raise intensity as the time duration is short. This would make it a high intensity interval workout.
This would help you in burning high amount of calories and fat. You can try and let go off the rails in the bike, which would help you carry out games like tennis, bowling, golf, etc. effectively.
Baby boomers should also try and incorporate weight and strength training in their workout. Many people especially women don’t try taking up weight training, they don’t realise that they would benefit a lot with weight training. This would give you strength, raise metabolism and burn fat.
