Ayurveda is an ancient form of medicine. And people these days are addicted to Ayurveda for getting the desired results in their weight loss mission.
The best part about the principle of Ayurveda is that it does not use any artificial product to help people lose weight. It studies the human body and devises techniques that suits the requirements of one’ body. After the need has been determined ayurveda starts to provide the body with the basic requirements. So basically if a person is trying to lose weight by following the techniques of ayurveda then they don’t have to starve themselves or control their craving for food.
There are no fixed solutions in ayurveda. There can’t be any because solutions vary from one person to another depending upon their body requirements and types. Ayurveda gives a lot of importance to the lifestyle that a person is leading. First and foremost, people trying to lose weight with ayurveda will be asked to resurrect their lives and give up completely on their bad habits like smoking, drinking etc.
It gives importance to simple things which makes this principle of medicine all the more authenticated. It advices people to take such food that eases and enhances the process of digestion. It even advises people to increase their intake of food for improved digestion. It recommends people to have fresh fruits and vegetables like mango, papaya, pineapple, bitter melons and so on. Out of the many procedures the most interesting one is asking people to consume warm water throughout the day.
Instead of black tea ginger tea is advised for people. Ayurveda also emphasizes on indulging in physical activities and doing regular exercises. People are also advised to connect with their mind and ask questions like how does my body feel, how much more weight do I want to gain or lose and such similar questions. As mentioned earlier, there is no prescribed technique in ayurveda. The solution should be such that it suits a person’s body. It is certainly a very effective way of losing weight and keeping fit.
