Add More Cheese to The Diet

Cheese can be an essential ingredient in the diets you undertake and it is extremely delicious and hard to resist because of its taste. Except the Vegan Diet, most of the diets include cheese in their menu. Cheese is a very good way to add protein and calcium; it can also be extremely high in saturated fat and calories.
Whenever we want to lose weight our way (healthily) without help of any crash diet, you tend to eliminate cheese from your diet. This isn’t fair; you should use cheese as it can be very healthy and aid in your weight loss. Cheese is available in many forms hence you should know which cheese to have and what to avoid.
Mentioned below are some ways where you can healthily incorporate cheese in your diet.
Use reduced/low fat version of cheese to make dishes: Many form of cheese come in low fat versions, which are made from skimmed milk. You can choose from Sargento or Kraft, which offer many low fat cheese varieties.
Use goat Cheese: This one has only 76 calories with 6 grams of fat in every ounce. You can use it in Pizza, Sandwich, etc. to add a different flavor. Try this cheese on all your favorite dishes for a healthy option.
Switch to Crème Cheese: Opt for Neufchatel version or fat free cheese in crème form. This is very rich and creamy in taste but not very high in calories. Try it in sandwich or with bagel. You can even try and make a cheesecake.
Cut the Size: When you have craving to have cheddar cheese, you can try to cut down the portion and enjoy/relish the flavor. Try keeping it at room temperature before eating-no it wouldn’t become healthier, but it would just taste better.
Opt for Mozzarella: Mozzarella has the lowest amount of fat and can be had instead of cheddar on your favorite pizza, sandwich, etc. Better still opt for partly skimmed mozzarella cheese with less than 5 gms of fat.
Making a Salad/ Sandwich? Try Feta Cheese: Feta has a unique flavor, texture as well as smell; but can be a healthier option if compared to blue or Swiss cheese. Grated Feta Cheese is great for Sandwich and pizza. One table spoon of Feta has only 2 gms of fat.
Inch Long Brie Cheese: Brie is good for all kind of gourmet food, if had in the right proportion it works out to be diet friendly. A cube of Brie has less than 60 calories and 5 gms of fat.
