There are some lies and myth about weight loss and diet has been spread around the globe. It has been so widely spread that many people take this myths and lies as fact.
There is just one simple mantra to lose weight is by changing your lifestyle and eating habits. Most myths and lies are generally related to crash or fad diet that claims to lose weight quickly without any effort.
Here are some common myths and facts that will help you in your weight loss.
Negative calorie food helps in weight loss: Totally false, well the fact is that there is no such negative calorie food. In other words, there is no food that burn more calories than the calories you derive from the. There is nothing called negative calorie food.
Proteins help in losing weight: Again false. Protein is important for our body especially for bones, muscles and other internal organ. Your body need protein if you are involved in weight lifting or intensive exercises, as it helps in developing muscles. But don’t think that by having ample amount of protein you will develop muscles and your fat will burn automatically.
Avoid fatty food to lose weight: It’s a proven fact that fat contains twice more calories as compared to carbohydrates and proteins. However, it’s also true that our body need certain amount of fat. You can’t completely cut it off. Eat fat, but within the prescribed amount. Overeating of any thing will make you fat. If you over eat cabs, you will gain weight. So eat whatever you want, but in a limit.
Our ideal weight is found from charts: This is obsolete; this method was used in 1950′s by some health club and insurance companies. Well your ideal weight is based on many factors such as your age, gender, height, your genes, your hormones, your ancestors, etc. In short, your ideal weight is the weight in which you feel comfortable.
Vitamins increase the fat burning process: Well, vitamin is very vital for our body and it helps in weight loss and fat burning. But vitamin all alone cannot burn your fat. You need to have healthy diet and good workout program to burn fat stored in your body.
